On the 29 January 2014, Tim Esau attended the graduation ceremony at the University of Bristol.
He was accompanied by his parents. Tim was awarded the highest honour of a distinction in his MSc in Dental Implantology.
The title of Tim’s dissertation was “An Audit of Patient Understanding and Recall of Risks and Complications of Dental Implant Treatment Following Written and Verbal Informed Consent”.
Tim chose an important topic for the dissertation he wrote for his MSc in Dental Implantology.
Dental implants are always evolving, as materials and technology advance. Patient understanding of risks and possible complications is an essential part of the consultation process. As Tim has a particular interest in this area, he makes sure his patients are well-informed throughout their implant treatment.
