A Permanent Solution for missing teeth

implant_anatomy1Many people have the dilemma of a missing tooth (or teeth) but don’t want dentures.

Implants are an increasingly popular way of permanently replacing missing teeth, being a safe well established treatment. In fact, an implant is the closest thing available to having your own teeth. Although initially more expensive than a denture, if you take good care of the implant and follow the advice given to you by your dentist, they can be a more cost-effective solution.

At its most simple an implant is a titanium screw which supports one of more replacement teeth. The implant is custom made for each patient and is specifically designed to match (or improve) your existing teeth shape and colour.

Implants can replace either a single missing tooth or a whole set. The full treatment takes a few months to complete, however your Dentist provides an interim solution– you are not left with a ‘gap’. Implants are not suitable for everyone, so we offer a inital consultation where the Dentist will carry out an assessment and outline your treatment options, giving you the opportunity to ask questions, before any treatment is agreed or started.

We get a lot of enquiries about implants and are now offering this treatment to both our patients and on referral – SpaDental Plymouth can do your treatment liaising with your own Dentist. Due to customer demand we are also able to offer flexible payment options.
