Diana Marcus joined our team of dental surgeons in January 2017. She is valued by both the SpaDental team and her patients.
Having qualified in Romania in 2000, Diana became a specialist in General Dentistry (which is the equivalent to being a specialist in Restorative Dentistry in the UK) in 2005.
Since then, Diana gained eleven years experience specialising in cutting-edge new treatments while she was working in private surgeries in Romania.
After moving to the UK, Diana has worked as an Associate Dentist in Estover and Saltash before joining SpaDental Plymouth last year.
Diana enjoys seeing her patients leave with their best possible smile.
One of Diana’s areas of special interest is the use of Invisalign® clear braces. She understands the benefits of straight teeth. Diana helps her patients to achieve a confident smile with the use of discreet clear tooth aligners. The treatment is especially popular with adults, who want straighter teeth without the embarrassment of having metal braces spoiling their appearance. However, more teenagers are also opting for Invisalign too. Young adults involved in music or sport find Invisalign helpful as they can remove the braces for a couple of hours a day for practice. And with markers that indicate if the aligner is being worn, then parents can follow progress too!

Outside of work, Diana likes to spend time with her family. They share a passion for skiing, as well as trying new water sports challenges and going out cycling. Most recently, her whole family is enjoying spending time with the newest members – Dexter the dog and Stormy the cat!
