The key advice that Tom shares is:
- focus on the margin where the tooth and gum meet as this is where bacteria sits
- angle the brush at about 45 degrees
- hold the brush on the tooth for about 5-10 seconds
- keep your hand still, as the brush head moves by itself to do the cleaning
- then move on from tooth to tooth, systematically cleaning the inside and outside surfaces
