Are you wondering how to get the best dental care for your kids? Or are you and your family relocating to the Plymouth/Tamar region? Learn more about our children’s NHS treatments, at our SpaDental Plymouth and Saltash practices.
Meet Amelia and Reggie Boy, who came to visit us last Friday!
Amelia is used to coming into the surgery, as she’s been coming in since she was really small. Now she’s four and a half! She’s really confident around the place, but even so she likes to bring along Reggie Boy too for company.
Amelia’s dentist checks her teeth and gums every six months, and gives her advice about how to look after her teeth. Amelia, her family and her dentist want her teeth to last her a lifetime. As well as learning about cleaning her teeth, Amelia already knows healthy eating choices are important to protect her teeth.
So far Amelia hasn’t had a filling, and she’s hoping to keep it that way.
We love having children visit! So please come and see us!
Our recommendations for children’s appointments:
- babies should visit the dentist after the first tooth comes through, and before turning a year old
- young children should get used to visiting the dentist before they have an accident or problem
- everyone should see the dentist every six months, or as often as the dentist recommends
It’s good news for children’s NHS treatment, Plymouth and Saltash – SpaDental is currently able to register new patients under 18.
- A parents/guardian simply needs to call the practice:
- SpaDental Plymouth – 01752 663870
- SpaDental Saltash – 01752 841789
- Or why not make an appointment online?
We should be able to arrange your child’s appointment within the next 2-4 weeks.
During school holidays and half-term breaks, we hold regular Children’s Days when we prioritise appointments for children, in a friendly, welcoming and fun atmosphere.
