National Children’s Day UK champions a healthy childhood.

Sunday 13th May, 2018, is National Children’s Day UK #NCDUK2018.

“National Children’s Day UK is all about the importance of a healthy childhood in order to ensure that they can grow into healthy adults.”

SpaDental’s helping to create dentally fit children!

SpaDental couldn’t agree more! Dental health matters!

We all want kids to have a healthy childhood. And we think it’s never too young to start learning! At SpaDental we’re helping children have a healthier life through great dental care and thorough oral hygiene routines.

NHS treatment is available for under 18’s at Spa Dental Plymouth and SpaDental Whitchurch.

While we can only register a limited number of adults for NHS treatment from a (lengthy) waiting list, we can register children and young people directly!

Sign them up! Bring them in! And you’re giving them a great start in life!

Babies, infants, children and teenagers (under 18, or under 19 if still in full-time education) can usually see a dentist within a couple of weeks. A parent or guardian just needs to call our reception teams and fix an appointment.

Children deserve to have great teeth for life!

Children smile! We want them to smile. With clean, healthy teeth, there’s no reason why they should ever stop smiling!

Both SpaDental Whitchurch and SpaDental Plymouth have hygienists and therapists, as well as dentists who are great with children. We also hold special children’s days during half-terms and holidays, when we prioritise children’s appointments for an even more child-friendly environment.

If you’re a parent or guardian, this is how you can help:

Two campaigns, Dental Check by 1 and Starting Well, encourage access to NHS dental care for babies, children and teens.

It’s never too soon for a baby to go to the dentist! And a conscientious oral hygiene routine in young people can really save them a long of money, time and trouble later on.

Modern dentistry focuses on preventive care. The teeth of young people today are better now than ever. As adults, we need to be responsible for making sure that the children of today have the best teeth they can possibly have.
