When Joe Wicks (aka The Body Coach) asked us to spread the word, how could we say no? We want kids who are fit in body, mind and mouth! So here’s the news: Schools Fitness Week is back!
Schools fitness week encourages kids to have fun exercising!
Joe Wicks is streaming a live workout on his YouTube channel at ten o’clock this Monday morning (10th September 2018), and also at the same time on Tuesday 11th and Wednesday 12th.
His target audience is, you guessed it, kids. But adults can have fun joining in too!
The Body Coach says: “I’m on mission to get more kids active and feeling the benefits of exercise and I want young people to see that fitness can be fun.”
School Fitness Week is a bigger event each year. Take a look at this video of kids all joining in the first year Joe ran this programme.
They’re having a great time!
If fitness is fun, both children and adults are more likely to exercise. Moreover, it doesn’t need to cost anything. All you need is motivation and space. Exercising as a family is a great way to spend time together. If we get children exercising when they’re young, then they can get into the habit for life. After all, healthy children become healthy adults.
SpaDental supports children’s health.
It’s never too early to start exercising, and it’s never too early to go to the dentist either.
In an effort to support the government aim to improve the dental health of our kids, SpaDental Plymouth and SpaDental Whitchurch are encouraging parents and guardians to contact us to register babies, children and teenagers for dental checks.
