“Lucy is a really lovely, caring & gentle dentist.”

“My dentist is Lucy and she is absolutely lovely. She’s very warm and welcoming on every visit which puts me at easy from the start. Lucy actively listens to any concerns that I have and makes realistic recommendations on both immediate and long term treatment options, all the while including my feelings on the treatments involved. All questions that I have had have been answered fully. Thank you.”

“I booked in with Lucy to have a wisdom tooth extracted. I had been putting it off for 10 years. Lucy was kind, gentle, patient and funny. She put me at ease during what was a highly anxious time. I can’t say I enjoyed the experience, however it was totally pain free and recovery has been fast and so much better than expected. I couldn’t recommend Lucy enough!”

“I’m so nervous at the dentist it is a deep fear and the treatment I’ve had from Lucy was amazing. I feel I will be able to go back again.”

Are you a nervous patient living in the Glastonbury area?

Many people avoid going to the dentist but, in fact, your dentist is the best person to understand your reluctance and is there to help you come to terms with your anxiety. Moreover, if you haven’t been to the dentist for a while, the team will not be judgemental. They will do everything they can to help get you back on the right path to a healthy mouth.

If you haven’t been to the dentist for over six months, then make an appointment as soon as possible! The longer you leave it between appointments, the more likely it is that a small problem will get worse and then your treatment will be more challenging. When you make your appointment, be clear that you are a nervous patient.

Investing in dental care is time and money well spent. Teeth and gums have to meet heavy demands day after day, and a good care routine at home isn’t enough to keep them in tip-top condition. Quality dentistry can help you to have a comfortable mouth and achieve your optimum smile.

Our special offer to new patients:

A new patient examination with Ms Lucy Smith will include standard x-rays at no additional cost.

As a new patient, your time with the dentist will be longer than for a regular check-up. This is so that your dentist can do a thorough examination of your mouth. The dentist will systematically assess your oral health. Not only inspecting the teeth for signs of decay, and any restoration work for signs of wear, but also examining your gum health for periodontal needs and the soft tissue of your mouth and lips for lesions. Having a detailed dental assessment is an important health check that not only saves teeth, but can even save lives.
