Holiday Dental Emergency Information – May 2019

Have a lovely long weekend. All of us at SpaDental hope you enjoy yourselves and keep your teeth safe from accidents.

But in case you are unlucky and need either urgent care or an emergency appointment over the weekend, please read the information below to find out what to do, and how we can help.

With lovely spring weather, and time to enjoy, we often take the opportunity to be outdoors more, doing activities we may not usually do. Or we use the break to catch up on gardening, or simply play more than usual. Consequently, over holiday periods, accidents can happen.

Please note:

Visitors to the area, as well as registered patients, can ask us for information or help too. All you need to do is call your nearest practice and an answer machine will offer local advice. SpaDental has practices located throughout the South West of England, in Shropshire, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Devon.

Please remember that the NHS has a 24/7 call line if you need urgent advice – dial 111. Bleeding that won’t stop, or swelling that threatens breathing, are both urgent and you should seek immediate care.

We sincerely hope that all our patients, as well as visitors to our area, keep in good health over the holiday period. We are aware, though, that problems can arise and unfortunately accidents may happen. So we suggest you keep this information handy, just in case.
