Remembering our colleague and friend, Nicki Cousins

We share with you sad news

As many of you know, our colleague and friend, dental hygienist Nicki Cousins, was diagnosed with cancer last year. We are deeply sorry to have to share with you the sad news of her passing. Nicki worked with SpaDental Chard (formerly Springside Dental Practice) for 28 years. As Nicki prioritised building warm relationships with her patients and colleagues, we all feel the loss of her in our community. We extend our deepest sympathy to Nicki’s family.

The family asks for any memorial donations to be given to The Beacon Centre at Musgrove Park Hospital. The centre was opened over ten years ago, and approximately 1,200 patients a year are saved the round trip to Bristol for treatment. The centre is supported by donations. Community involvement has helped provide equipment, furnishings and art work for the facility.  Further contributions from the local community will help to ensure that the centre has up-to-date equipment and continues to be a centre of excellence.

COUSINS Nicolette (Nicki) Peacefully at home in Combe St. Nicholas surrounded by her family, aged 56 years. Beloved Wife of Richard and Mum of Abigail and Tamzin. A dearly loved Daughter, Daughter-In-Law, Sister and Sister-In-Law. Sadly missed by all her family and friends. Family flowers only.
