We’re pleased to be able to introduce you to Grace Vincent who will be helping answer your telephone and email enquiries, as well as booking appointments. Grace joined the team just before the country went into lockdown, and has now resumed work. She has been to meet with the staff of SpaDental Chard to observe the new procedures in place now the practice has reopened.
When you call to ask about an appointment, Grace will answer if the call hasn’t already picked up by someone in the practice you called. Grace will begin by establishing the reason why you’re calling and help you to access the services you need.
If your call is to book an appointment, then she will ask you questions about your needs and also run through the new coronavirus screening questions. Pre-appointment screening is now an essential part of our new patient journey.
Grace’s career in communication
After leaving school, Grace attended Bridgwater College where she took a course in Uniformed Public Services. It included a wide range of experiences, from camping out on Exmoor to visiting the army bases on Salisbury Plain. Much of the focus was on the importance of team work and building excellent communication skills.
Knowing how much she likes working with people, Grace worked in the retail industry. She gained valuable organisational and communication experience working as PA to the CEO of a well known aromatherapy company.
Grace began her training as a dental nurse, working across several practices within a group with over 100 practices across the UK. She found the range and variety energising, but most of all she enjoyed meeting the patients. Grace looks forward to building a career in the dental industry.
Her background in dental care is invaluable when it comes to understanding patient needs as she responds to their enquiries.
Grace says, “I really want to progress in the dental industry. I am very excited that I have made a new move and joined SpaDental.”
In her free time Grace particularly enjoys outdoor activities. A highlight of each year is a family trip skiing in France.
