Practice Manager Laura Watson has recently joined the SpaDental teams in SpaDental Ledbury, Ross-on-Wye and Tewkesbury.

Laura grew up on the outskirts of Birmingham and then lived in North Wales before settling in Gloucestershire. With over ten years of experience in the dental sector as a nurse and as a practice manager, she brings experience and enthusiasm, as well as her dedication to patient care.
“I feel rewarded whenever a patient thanks me. I know I’ve done my job properly when they leave happy and satisfied with their visit to the dentist.”
Even as a teenager, Laura knew she wanted to work with people. After a few holiday jobs in cafes and on the Welsh Highland Railway, she began her training as a dental nurse. Now, as a practice manager, Laura enjoys the scope of managing, as well as ongoing contact with her patients. She combines excellent time management and organisational skills, with good humour and friendliness.
Laura’s always ready to help
In her free time, Laura loves to volunteer to help others. She is actively involved in her local Girl Guiding & Scouts units because she believes it’s important for children to gain experiences beyond school and home.
A highlight of Laura’s days as a dental nurse was her visit to Morocco as a volunteer with the charitable organisation, Dental Mavericks. Their aim is to work with local communities to end children’s dental pain and promote oral health.
“I worked as part of a team and we travelled into the Rif mountain range. We visited villages and worked as many hours as possible to see as many children as we could. It was extremely rewarding.”
A warm welcome
Laura is enjoying the friendly atmosphere of the three SpaDental practices she is managing. Most of all, she loves meeting all the patients and helping them to access the best dental care for their needs.
