The Queen’s state funeral – 19th September

It was with great sadness we heard news of the death of our monarch last week. While there is a period of sorrow and national mourning, it is also a time of appreciation and gratitude for the long and productive life Queen Elizabeth dedicated to duty and service.

Are dentists open on Monday 19th September?

Even though, the date of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s State Funeral, will be a national bank holiday, many of the SpaDental team are working. Clinicians with a busy day of appointments have chosen not to disrupt the calendar and will be offering care. Please read on for more detail.

Is my practice open?

The following practices are open with the named clinicians providing treatment, alongside their support staff:

Patients with an appointment can expect a confirmation message. If you cannot attend your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible using our online contact us form.

In these practices, if a clinician has opted to take holiday, we have notified patients and rescheduled their appointment.

Is my practice closed?

SpaDental practices in Glastonbury, Ledbury, Ross-on-Wye and Whitchurch will be closed on Monday 19th September. Our team has notified patients with booked appointments.

Do I need to do anything?

For so many of us, Queen Elizabeth has been a constant presence in the background of our lives, and the loss of her marks the beginning of a new era. While Monday 19th September will be a day of sorrow, it will also be a day of appreciation for her dedicated service.
