Passionate about oral health, Louis Sparling prioritises the needs of his patients. He understands how important it is to build a trusting, friendly relationship with his patients who appreciate his caring, empathetic approach. He works enthusiastically to help patients achieve their long-term oral health goals, coaching and encouraging them to success.
About Louis
Louis grew up in Devon and began his career as a dental nurse, before qualifying as a dental therapist. The University of Sheffield and the British Society for Dental Hygienists and Therapists (BSDHT) recognised his outstanding professionalism.
A dental therapist’s skill
Dental therapists support patients’ oral hygiene and deliver some dental treatments too. A key role of a therapist is to work with patients to establish regular oral hygiene appointments and establish effective at-home routines promoting healthy gums. Within his scope of practice, Louis is also qualified to perform tooth whitening, as prescribed by a dentist, place fillings and extract primary teeth.
