We understand the combination of your work and children’s schools and activity schedules can make booking a dental appointment a logistical nightmare!
The answer? Saturday appointments for children with busy parents!
Preventive care is at the heart of SpaDental’s mission. We believe in seeing as many children as we can, and are extending our opening hours so this can happen.
We have diary space available for children throughout the holidays and are taking booking as far ahead as December. We’re especially excited to be taking bookings on Saturdays as we know how many more children will be able to benefit from early preventive care.
We’re sure we’ll have a time to suit your family!
We accept children for NHS appointments
To encourage effective preventive care from an early age, children can visit the dentist at no cost to their parents.

Dental therapists are wonderful with children
Therapists help children feel comfortable in a clinical environment. It is very hard for a child if their first experience at the dentist is because of pain or trauma, so we encourage parents to bring their children to us before they are even one year old!
During a dental assessment, the therapist risk assesses the child’s teeth, and is likely to ask questions about diet and home oral health routines. If necessary, therapists place fillings. They offer advice, guidance and fluoride varnish if required. They recall children for appointments according to need to monitor dental development and to detect any problems as early as possible.
On Saturdays, dental therapists Meghana Pala and Ramya Kesav see children in SpaDental Plymouth and dental therapists Sai Inapagolla and Madhumathi Krishnavadanan see them in Saltash.
